The International Piano Festival of La Roque d’Anthéron reaches number 43 this season. 43th edition and as usual, the great keyboard stars and also the young artists of tomorrow are programmed. On the programme from 20 July to 20 August 2023, the different piano schools are represented with Mao Fujita for Japan, Maria João Pires (Portugal), Víkingur Ólafsson (Iceland), Nelson Goerner (Argentina) Abdel Rahman El Bacha (Lebanon)… The Russian and French schools are in greater numbers with Yulianna Avdeeva, Lukas Geniušas, Nikolaï Lugansky, Grigory Sokolov, Arcadi Volodos as well as Bertrand Chamayou, François-Frédéric Guy, David Kadouch, Alexandre Kantorow, Adam Laloum, Jean-Marc Luisada, Célia Oneto Bensaid, Alexandre Tharaud, Marie-Josèphe Jude, Marc Laforet… Bruce Liu and the young winner of the Geneva 2023 competition Kevin Chen will represent the Canadian school.
