]]> Rusalka, Dvořák‘s superb but rarely performed masterpiece, is the title chosen for the second edition of Opéras au Sud, the regional initiative for opera production. Thanks to a co-production with Arsud, the Opéras de Marseille, Nice, Toulon and with the support of the City of Avignon, Jean-Philippe Clarac and Olivier Deloeuil‘s production will premiere on 13 October 2023 at the Opéra Grand Avignon before coming to the Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur (from 26 to 30 January 2024) during this 2023-2024 season. Audiences in the south of France will have the chance to discover the story of the undine Rusalka, inspired by Andersen‘s fairytale The Little Mermaid.
