The last new production of the 2017-2018 opera season in Prague is Verdi’s masterpiece Nabucco at Hudební divadlo Karlín on 28 and 29 June 2018, staged by superstar and eclectic tenor José Cura.

In his beautiful Opera House, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, General Director and stage director Stefano Mazzonis di Pralafera presents from June 12, a new production of Verdi’s Macbeth directed by Mazzonis di Pralafera himself. Maestro Myung-whun Chung is still recovering from a car accident and must cancel the Dresde concert on 14, 15 & 16 April where he was supposed to conduct the famous Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden. Semyon Bychkov will replace him.
