The Orchestre national de Lyon and its conductor Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider are offering two performances of the famous opera, on 24 and 26 May 2024, with the great American baritone Thomas Hampson in the role. Accompanied by young artists and the Italian soprano Barbara Frittoli in the role of Despina, Thomas Hampson is also responsible for the staging of this semi-staged version.
