]]> Having just enchanted her fans in Lecocq’s La fille de Madame Angot at the Opéra Comique, Véronique Gens has just been recognised by the British magazine Gramophone as Artist of the Year. She received her award at the Gramophone Classical Music Awards 2023, which also honoured the CD ‘Rivales’ recorded with Sandrine Piau and Julien Chauvin, with the Voice and Ensemble Award. The great French soprano will be back on a gondola in Venice as Giulietta in Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann from 24 November to 2 December 2023 at the Teatro La Fenice.
