]]> The Opéra National de Lorraine is offering an opera of a different kind, programming Haydn’s famous oratorio Die Schöpfung (The Creation) from 18 to 23 February 2024 at the Opéra de Nancy. At a time when 38% of Americans still believe that the Earth was created less than 10,000 years ago, director Kevin Barz is proposing a rereading of Genesis with light as the common thread, sketching out a salutary reflection at a time when the fight against fake news is becoming a daily sport! The vocal part will be provided by Julie Roset, Jonas Hacker and Sam Carl, and the musical direction by Marta Gardolińska. A great creation awaits in Nancy.
