]]> On February 4, 2025, the beginning of the end will unfold at La Monnaie-De Munt in Brussels. Indeed, Götterdämmerung by Richard Wagner, the final episode of the tetralogy, will be on stage till March 2, heralding the twilight of the gods.

Ingela Brimberg and Bryan Register perform as Brünnhilde and as Siegfried, while Alain Altinoglu conducts Pierre Audi’s production. Let us recall that the Wagnerian cycle was initially directed by the renowned visual artist Romeo Castellucci, but due to financial constraints, Pierre Audi’s earlier production was chosen for the final two titles.

Since January 2016, Alain Altinoglu has served as the Music Director of La Monnaie-De Munt. In 2023, the prestigious Belgian institution extended his contract until 2031.
