In the spring of 2025, the German choreographer Marco Goecke will present his new work Transfigured Night. This will be followed in the summer by two other works created for Monte-Carlo, by the compagnie Kor’sia and by the Slovakian choreographer Lukáš Timulak, a former member of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo. The repertoire also includes Wartime Elegy by the Ukrainian choreographer Alexei Ratmanansky (created in 2022, this piece deals with a hot topic issue, the war in Ukraine).

La Mégère Apprivoisée, by Jean-Christophe Maillot, the company’s director and choreographer, will return to the stage to mark the end of 2024 and the start of the new year at the Grimaldi Forum. Finally, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo will go on a world tour with the great works of Jean-Christophe Maillot and Sharon Eyal, including Romeo and Juliet, Lac and Autodance.

The famous director and choreographer of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo tells the story of his life in his biography illustrated by 300 photos. Following the watchwords of transmission and openness, he reveals himself with sensitivity and emotion to show the world of dance and creation in which he has evolved for over 40 years.

He plunges us into the world of the prestigious company and its repertoire, and he is determined not to tell his story alone. More than fifty dancers, choreographers, visual artists, writers, conductors, composers and actors are called on to draw up his unclassifiable profile.
