]]> After Trois mélodies sur des poèmes de Pierre de Ronsard recorded for the B Records label, young French composer Othman Louati reunites with his interpreter, soprano Marie-Laure Garnier, for the world premiere of his very first opera, Les Ailes du désir. The libretto by Gwendoline Soublin, based on an original idea by Johanny Bert, is inspired by the film Der Himmel über Berlin (Wings of Desire) by Wim Wenders, well known to film buffs. The premiere will take place at the Bateau Feu in Dunkirk on 9 November 2023, before a 16-date tour of Quimper, Dijon, Besançon, Compiègne, Nantes, Rennes and Tourcoing.
