]]> In a short space of time, soprano Lise Davidsen has easily established herself as one of the greatest voices of her generation. Her unique dramatic soprano has led to her being named Artist of the Year 2024 at the 63rd Musical America Worldwide Awards. Conductor Antonio Pappano, soloist Anthony McGill, composer Kevin Puts and the ensemble The Crossing were also honoured. This 2023-2024 season, Lise Davidsen will perform as Leonora in Verdi‘s La forza del destino at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in February-March 2024, or in Strauss‘s Salome in Lydia Steier’s shocking staging at the Opéra Bastille in Paris in May 2024.
