]]> The works of contemporary composer Steve Reich are performed all over the world, but this season Paris has the chance to host 16 works by the famous minimalist composer, including two French premieres, as part of the 34th edition of the Présences festival. From 5 to 11 February 2024, at the Maison de la radio, IRCAM and the Philharmonie de Paris, the curious will be able to discover Jacob’s ladder and Music for Ensemble and Orchestra, while enthusiasts will find the great masterpieces Music for 18 Musicians, The Desert Music, Drumming… alongside works by French and foreign composers influenced by his work (Guillaume Connesson, Caroline Shaw, Gabrielle Smith, Josephine Stevenson, Othman Louati, Nico Muhly, Théo Merigeau).
