From 10 to 13 October 2019, at the Opéra Royal de Versailles, one of the most beautiful theatre in the world, Grétry’s masterpiece opera Richard Cœur-de-Lion is back on stage directed by Marshall Pynkoski and conducted by Hervé Niquet.

Since 1789, the eighteenth century French comic opera, one of the most popular in Europe at that time, has never been performed in Versailles.
