It’s become an institution! Every year, the New Year’s concert in Venice‘s splendid Teatro La Fenice invites a leading figure from the world of classical music to conduct four concerts to mark the arrival of the new year. As in Vienna, the announcement of the conductor is eagerly awaited, and it is Daniel Harding‘s name that has been unveiled. The great British conductor (who is also a co-pilot on Air France) will take to the podium on 29, 30 and 31 December 2024 and 1 January 2025, as he did so successfully in 2022-23.
