While the new production of Offenbach’s La Périchole is delighting such a large audience that the performances are almost sold out, the Opéra Comique is hosting on Saturday 11 June 2022 at 8pm, the concert version of another opera no less delightful. Phryné, the only “comic” opera by Camille Saint-Saëns and one of his most popular works, is performed by the finest French-speaking singers (Anne-Catherine Gillet, Cyrille Dubois, Anaïs Constans, Thomas Dolié…) and conducted by the lively Hervé Niquet. Not to be missed!
