After Valentine’s Day, Romeo and Juliet Still in the Spotlight!

Valentine’s Day may be over, but the lovers of Verona are still being celebrated in Belgium and in London.

The stars of the Royal Ballet perform on the legendary stage of Covent Garden until 26 May 2025, in Kenneth MacMillan‘s splendid and iconic choreography.

Starting on March 15, 2025, at the Opera of Ghent, and from April 3 at the Opera of Antwerp, Spanish choreographer Marcos Morau presents Romeo + Juliet, a new production inspired by Shakespeare’s classic tale and Sergei Prokofiev’s music, conducted by Gavin Sutherland. One of the most renowned and sought-after artists of the moment, Morau will make his debut with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, working with the company’s dancers in an innovative vision where he sees “much less love and much more of the violence expressed by Shakespeare and Prokofiev.
