Akram Khan, one of the greatest dancers and choreographers of our time, returns to his roots at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées from January 11 to 14, 2025, with his show “Gigenis, the Generation of the Earth“.

In this performance, he explores Indian ancestral traditions and the collective memories of our civilization in a manifesto highlighting the importance of tradition in a constantly evolving world. There is no doubt that the universal language of his virtuoso dance, Kathak, combined with his contemporary choreography skills, will be nothing short of spectacular!
