While her very first solo recording (of Rachmaninov’s songs with pianist Lukas Geniušas) is to be released on 25 March 2022, Asmik Grigorian already has numerous recording projects with the Alpha Classics label, such as Shostakovich’s 14th with Matthias Goerne and Strauss’s Four Last Songs, both works with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France conducted by Mikko Franck. The new soprano star will next appear in Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan (23 February to 13 March 2022) and from 9 to 18 April 2022 at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden as part of the Osterfestspiele with Kirill Petrenko and the Berliner Philharmoniker.
