After Le Timbre d’Argent, a new Camille Saint-Saëns Opera is about to be rediscover, on 24 & 26 November 2017 at Geneva’s Opéra des Nations, Saint-Saëns’s Ascanio is conducted by Guillaume Tourniaire starring Bernard Richter, Karina Gauvin, Ève-Maud Hubeaux and Jean-François Lapointe.
Joy and happiness at Geneva’s Opéra des Nations from 15 December 2017 to 6 January 2018 with Der Zigeunerbaron, the famous Johann Strauss’ operetta performed in French is conducted by Stefan Blunier and directed by Christian Räth.
Thomas Jolly’s production of Offenbach’s Fantasio is performed at Geneva’s Théâtre des Nations from 3 to 20 November with Katija Dragojevic as Fantasio.
In Geneva, the firts event of the new season is the Figaro/Beaumarchais trilogy with from 12 to 26 September at the Opéra des Nations, the performance of Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart) and Figaro Gets a Divorce (Elena Langer).
The director of Opera Vlaanderen Aviel Cahn has been chosen to manage the Grand Théâtre de Genève from July 2019.
