A role debut for American soprano Ailyn Pérez who performs as Thaïs with Gerald Finley as Athanaël in Massenet’s opera directed by John Cox and conducted by Emmanuel Villaume at the Metropolitan Opera from November 11.

Composer Thomas Adès conducts his new opera The Exterminating Angel directed by librettist Tom Cairns at the Metropolitan opera from 26 October.

Legendary Franco Zeffirelli’s production of Puccini’s Turandot returns to the Metropolitan Opera from October 12 starring Oksana Dyka and Aleksandrs Antonenko, and from March 21 starring Martina Serafin and Marcelo Álvarez.
