Having sung the role on stage many times, the extraordinary Cecilia Bartoli is back on tour in the guise of the Egyptian queen Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare in Egitto, Handel‘s masterpiece. The Orchestre Les Musiciens du Prince – Monaco conducted by the loyal Gianluca Capuano is at the helm, with a cast chosen to surround the superstar Bartoli (Carlo Vistoli as Julius Caesar, Sara Mingardo, Max Emanuel Cenčič, José Coca Loza and the hilarious Kangmin Justin Kim as Sextus).

The troupe will be hosted by Luxembourg before the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris (23 & 25 October 2023), the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels (27), the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (30) and finally the Kölner Philharmonie (1 November) before further dates in 2024.
