Cristian Macelaru’s contract as principal conductor of the WDR Sinfonieorchester has been extended till the end of the 2024-2025 season.

Macelaru, Solti Conducting Award laureate, is also expected in Paris from September 1st, 2021, to lead the Orchestre National de France as the new music director.
