As part of the serie “Les Grandes Voix” at Paris Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, on 10 January 2019 and before the Chorégies d’Orange in August, bass-baritone Erwin Schrott wears Don Giovanni’s clothes in a concert version of Mozart’s masterpiece with the Kammerorchester Basel conducted by Giovanni Antonini.

His main partners (Julia Kleiter, Lucy Crowe, Christian Senn and Benjamin Bruns) are as prestigious as Orange’s but the cast is completely different.
