Congratulations to Turkish mezzo Ezgi Karakaya, who won easily the 9th Leyla Gencer Voice Competition in Istanbul. Renato Bruson, President of the international jury gave the second price to German Mezzo-soprano Anna Doris Capitelli and the third price to Polish tenor Piotr Buszewski. Turkish Baritone Faik Mansuroğlu and Turkish Bass-Baritone Doğukan Özkan are distiguished also. Miss Ezgi Karakaya received also the Leyla Gencer Audience Award.
