Donizetti’s comedy La Fille du Régiment will be performed at New York’s Metropolitan Opera from February 7 with a brilliant cast starring Pretty Yende in the role of Marie, Javier Camarena as Tonio and Alessandro Corbelli and Maurizio Muraro sharing the role of Sergeant. Amrerican actress Kathleen Turner join the cast to perfom the non-singing role of la Duchesse de Krakenthorp in the perfect production by Laurent Pelly.
