From L.A. to Paris

After a contemporary Romeo and Juliet at the Seine Musicale, born from the collaboration between Solenne du Hays Mascré and Benjamin Millepied (founder of the L.A. Dance Project), the duo is creating a new project called Paris Dance Project around transmission and sharing. This artistic and social approach is based on 4 fundamentals: dance everywhere and for everyone, an educational project for young people in the service of social diversity and artistic education, a choreographic campus and the creation of a nomadic heritage collection in addition to a digital offer.
Under the artistic direction of Benjamin Millepied, the Paris Dance Project is launched with “Exaltations”, as part of the Nuit Blanche on 3 June 2023, at the Hangar Y in Meudon. A duet danced by Millepied himself and Caroline Osmont (from the Paris Opera Ballet), inspired by Philip Glass’ opera “Einstein on the Beach”, is on the programme as well as creations by choreographers and performers. The show will be repeated on June 4th from 2pm to 7pm at POUSH (Aubervilliers).
