From 13 to 27 February 2022 at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, a new triumph is expected for the German soprano Marlis Petersen who, after the success of her Marietta in Korngold’s Die Tote Stadt in Munich, takes on a new golden role as Emilia Marty in The Makropulos Case. Janácek’s rarely performed masterpiece is directed by Claus Guth and conducted by Simon Rattle, a prestigious and regular guest at the Berlin Opera.ù
