Habemus directoribus:

Just arriving at the  Philharmonie de Paris as Principal manager (since 1 November 2021), Olivier Mantei will not leave his previous position as director of the Opéra Comique  unoccupied for long. On 21 October, “on the proposal of Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, Minister of Culture, the President of the Republic decided to appoint Louis Langrée as director of the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique for a five-year term”. Louis Langrée is a conductor well known to Parisian music lovers for having conducted several times at Salle Favart and especially in the world of international classical music, as musical director of the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center in New York and of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, position he will leave at the end of the 2023-2024 season.
