Immortel Noureev, Nureyev alive

Rudolf Nureyev remains the greatest dancer of the twentieth century and forever a major figure in international ballet, thanks to the many revivals of his work in Paris, London, Vienna, Milan and elsewhere. Journalist Patricia Boccadoro, who knew him well (in fact, it was he who encouraged her to write in the 1980s), has just published a book about the man as he was, collecting numerous testimonies from close friends and family and recalling all the performances she was lucky enough to see at London’s Covent Garden. Rudolf Nureyev: As I Remember Him has just been published by The Book Guild.
