The great American choreographer John Neumeier has just turned a page in his exemplary artistic life. Having just bid farewell to the Hamburg Ballet, which he directed for 51 years, the choreographer is not giving up the stage. Beginning in the 1940s, his career, recently crowned with a “lifetime achievement award” by the specialized magazine tanz, continues as a curator and impresario. From September 26 to October 13, 2024, the third edition of the festival The World of John Neumeier will be held in Baden-Baden, at the Festspielhaus, and throughout the city.
