Only two dates in Milan that are already sold out, Jonas Kaufmann once again unleashes the crowds in an Italian opera. Umberto Giordano’s Andrea Chénier will be performed at Teatro alla Scala from 3 to 27 May 2023 with Yusif Eyvazov and Jonas Kaufmann for only two dates. After Vienna and the missed appointment in Monte Carlo, the superlative tenor has taken the role before performing another hero of Italian opera, Enzo Grimaldo in Ponchielli’s La Gioconda in Sydney in August 2023 and then in London during the 2023-24 season.
