Jonathan Tetelman, the new tenor the world over has been snapping up, is Werther in Baden-Baden, directed by Robert Carsen. Having already performed the role in Lima and Montevideo, the American-Chilean artist offers his European premiere on 24 and 26 November 2023 to Festspielhaus audiences who will be able to say “I was there”. As well as Thomas Hengelbrock conducting, his partners are Kate Lindsey, Brandon Cedel and the all-too rare Elsa Benoit.
