La Dame Blanche on the bill at the Opéra Comique

Viens gentille Dame… The next masterpiece to be performed at the Opéra Comique from February 20 to March 01, 2020, is the exquisite François-Adrien Boieldieu’s La Dame Blanche with, as always, an exceptional distribution. The great success of the Opera Comique with more than 1,000 performances, had a revival in 1997 at Paris’ Salle Favart (where it has been created) starring tenor Gregory Kunde as Gaveston.

Today, tenor Philippe Talbot performs alongside Elsa Benoit, Sophie Marin-Degor, Jérôme Boutillier, Aude Extrémo and Yann Beuron. Julien Leroy conducts and Pauline Bureau directs the production after her opera debut with Bohème, notre jeunesse, from Puccini at Salle Favart.
