On 1 and 3 March 2022, the Teatro Real in Madrid will be the scene of a new summit meeting before Paris. After having performed Ophelia and Hamlet (in Thomas’s Hamlet), soprano Sabine Devieilhe reunites with baritone Stéphane Degout in Lakmé, the sublime masterpiece by Léo Delibes. The Madrid concert version conducted by Leo Hussain precedes by several months the performances of the opera directed by Laurent Pelly at the Opéra Comique from 28 September to 8 October 2022. The opera performances directed by Raphaël Pichon are already on sale.
