Ever since Trisha Brown, it has been known that Monteverdi’s Orfeo is an opera that can be danced to. The choreographer Sasha Waltz has created a production that will be staged at the Teatro Real in Madrid from 20 to 24 November 2022, with the astonishing baritone Georg Nigl in the title role and the impeccable conductor Leonardo García Alarcón.
