Marie-Laure Garnier won the Prix Voix des Outre-Mer, Ile-de-France unanimously

Congratulations to the soprano Marie-Laure Garnier who just won the Prix Voix des Outre-Mer, Ile-de-France unanimously. The Young Talent Award, also awarded unanimously, is given to Andréas Perez-Ursulet, an incredible 16-year-old countertenor. Sopranos Julie Vizy and Clara Bellon win the first and second Prix Voix Lyrique.

Finally, the World Music Prize rewards Meïla Gappu. After the two last round in Martinique and Guadeloupe Islands, the great final of the competition will be held in Paris on January 28, 2019, Salle Cortot. Under Fabrice Di Falco’s artistic direction of and Julien Leleu’s presidency, the Voix des Outre-Mer Competition aims to promote ultramarine voices and lyrical art in all its forms. The winners’ concert, open to all, will take place on January 29 at the Bal Blomet in Paris.
