The little Mozart was introduced to the Grand Couvert of King Louis XV at the Court of Versailles when he was only 7 years old. To commemorate this event, the Royal Opera of Versailles will program four operas of the divine composer in December and January. From December 27, 2022 to January 1, 2023, Hervé Niquet conducts Die Zauberflöte staged by Cécile Roussat and Julien Lubek. Marc Minkowski and Ivan Alexandre present an eventful Mozart/Da Ponte trilogy with the Musiciens du Louvre, from January 15 to 22, 2023, with Le nozze di Figaro (on January 15 and 20), Don Giovanni (on January 17 and 21), and Così fan tutte (on January 18 and 22).
