From 19 April to 14 May 2024, the marvellous soprano Nadine Sierra finds herself in the midst of drama when she returns to the iconic role of Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor in Katie Mitchell‘s heart-rending and profound staging at London’s Royal Opera House – Covent Garden. Her partner is the superb Xabier Anduaga and Ioan Hotea alternates in the role of the unhappy lover Edgardo. Both tenors are Operalia Competition Laureates (Anduaga in 2019 and Hotea in 2015).
