No Tugan Sokhiev at the Orchestre de Paris

The Paris’ Philharmonie was supposed to welcome the great Russian conductor Tugan Sokhiev to conduct two concert series of the Orchestre de Paris in September and October 2020, but health constraints on air traffic prevented him from doing so!

The good news is that the concerts will take place, with two luxury replacements: Esa-Pekka Salonen (23 & 24 September 2020) and Paavo Järvi (30 September and 1 October 2020) will conduct.

The programmes change, not the soloists (Lukas Geniušas and then Gil Shaham). Tugan Sokhiev will normally return to Paris to conduct the Orchestre de Paris on the 18th and 19th of October 2020.
