All is not lost for Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande starring Stanislas de Barbeyrac, Chiara Skerath and Alexandre Duhamel which was to be one of the highlights of the Bordeaux National Opera season.

The performances are cancelled and yet rehearsals and recordings remain possible, the artists and technicians continue to work to record a CD to be released by Alpha Classics. The performances have therefore been converted into closed-door recording sessions for a complete recording directed by Pierre Dumoussaud.
