A genre that is too little known in the world between comic opera and singspiel, zarzuela is full of masterpieces with sources that date back to the Baroque era. Quite naturally, the Salle Favart, the temple of comic opera, will host the production of Coronis composed by Sebastián Durón around 1705 from 14 to 17 February 2022 for four performances only. The production was first performed in Caen in 2019 and is now completing its tour in Paris with Vincent Dumestre and his Poème Harmonique as the project’s directors. The cast includes the fine talents of Marie Perbost, Isabelle Druet, Cyril Auvity and Victoire Bunel. Lovers of discovery, Spain is holding out its arms to you!
