As part of the Dublin Theatre Festival, the young Irish composer Emma O’Halloran is presenting two new works, Trade and Mary Motorhead, on the stage of the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire, from 11 to 13 October 2024. For the occasion, she is adapting two plays with burning themes by her uncle Mark O’Halloran, a writer and actor who has appeared in the Mary & George series. The composer has already received rave reviews in 2023 in the United States, where the operas were given their world premiere.
