The famous Moor of Venice makes a diversion to London’s Royal Opera House where, from 12 to 24 July 2022, tenor Russell Thomas performs as the Shakespearean hero of Verdi’s opera, alongside Hrachuhí Bassénz as Desdemona and Christopher Maltman as Iago. The revival of Keith Warner’s production, in which a certain Jonas Kaufmann has been seen, is conducted by Daniele Rustioni.
