The Opéra Comédie de Montpellier will be perform Debussy’s masterpiece Pelléas et Mélisande, directed by Benjamin Lazar, from 9 to 13 March 2022 for three exceptional dates. The director presents the long-awaited revival of the production created in Malmö in 2016. In an enigmatic country setting, between light and dark, Marc Mauillon‘s Pelléas and Judith Chemla‘s Mélisande will perform under the direction of the Ukrainian conductor Kirill Karabits.
