After detecting some cases of Covid within the corps de ballet, La Scala in Milan has been forced to postpone the opening of its dance season by a few days. The performances of La Bayadère that should have taken place on 15 and 17 December 2021 have been postponed to 12 and 13 January 2022. After the opera and Macbeth on 7 December, the dance season opening will now take place on Tuesday 21 December 2021 in, we hope, the best conditions.
