Baroque Star: Before the Aix Festival, Raphaël Pichon and his ensemble Pygmalion perform at the Château de Versailles a varied and thrilling programme. On 9 & 10 February 2019 at the Chapelle Royale, he conducts the famous Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine starring Lea Desandre, Eva Zaïcik and Lucile Richardot. The singers performs also on February 11, some Stravaganza d’Amore sung in the splendid and unique Galerie des Glaces. Finally, on March 13 & 14 at the Chapelle Royale, Raphaël Pichon conducts Bach’s ultimate masterpiece, the Mass in B minor BWV 232. Events not to be missed!
