Riccardo Muti honoured in Palermo

If all goes well, Riccardo Muti is scheduled to travel to Palermo to conduct three concerts (on the 30th of November, 4th & 5th of December 2020) at Teatro Massimo.

During his stay in Sicily, he will be made an honorary citizen of Palermo for his commitment to spreading the values of peace and communion between peoples through the universal language of music.

At 79 years of age, the great conductor is still very much present on the podium. Among other things, he will conduct the famous Vienna New Year’s concert, at the head of the Wiener Philharmoniker.
