Due to an illness that has prevented him from taking part in rehearsals, Maestro Riccardo Chailly, Music Director of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, will not be conducting the performances of Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera on the prestigious Italian stage scheduled for 4 to 22 May 2022. In the pit, Nicola Luisotti and Giampaolo Bisanti will replace him to accompany a very luxurious cast with Sondra Radvanovsky, Francesco Meli and Luca Salsi and Ludovic Tézier (alternating).
