Sabine Devieilhe in the news several times

While some performances of Lakmé at the Opéra Comique in September and October 2022 are already almost sold out, soprano Sabine Devieilhe is making headlines. She is scheduled to appear in Handel’s Alcina at the Palais Garnier from 28 November to 17 December 2021 as Morgana for the first time. She will then fly to Munich to perform as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte from 21 to 30 December 2021 at the Nationaltheater, before returning to Paris at the Opéra Comique. She will again performed as Ophelia in the revival of Ambroise Thomas’ sensational Hamlet (starring baritone Stéphane Degout) from 24 January 2022 to 3 February 2022. But her news does not stop there, since on the same day she released Rameau’s Achante et Céphise (with Alexis Kossenko on Erato) and a Bach/Handel recital conducted by Raphaël Pichon (also on Erato).
