Even if Parisians tend to think that the grass is always greener elsewhere in Europe, music lovers around the world will have their eyes on the French capital in December 2021 as the New Year celebrations are set to be particularly merry.

Classical ballet excellence will be on stage at the Opéra Bastille with Don Quixote (9 December 2021 to 2 January 2022). The finest choreographers are at the Palais Garnier (Vaslav Nijinsky, Frederick Ashton and Sharon Eyal from 11/12/21 to 1/1/22). And there is nothing like the musical comedy tunes of Cole Porter in Paris at the Théâtre du Châtelet (from 11/12/2021 to 2/1/2022) or Offenbach’s aptly named Vie Parisienne, the ideal show at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (from 21/12/2021 to 09/01/2022).
