]]> Khatia Buniatishvili is not only a great pianist but also one of the few classical musicians widely known to the general public. Without breaking the codes of classical music even in her glamourous dress, her intelligently crafted recitals convey passion and evoke deep emotions for those fortunate enough to attend.

The downside of such stardom is that securing tickets can be challenging if not planned well in advance. As she performs in Toulouse at the Halle aux Grains on March 18, 2025, with a program featuring Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, and Mozart, the concert is already nearly sold out.

However, fans still have the opportunity to attend her recital at the legendary Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on May 25, 2025. With a playful program including works by Satie, Chopin, Bach, Schubert, F. Couperin, and Liszt, tickets are still available—for now!

]]> While enjoying an exemplary career, the young French pianist Jonathan Fournel (winner of the 2021 Queen Elisabeth of Belgium International Music Competition) is continuing his meteoric rise. After a recent recital at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the holy of holies of concert halls, he returns to Beethoven at the Concertgebouw in Bruges this time, with the triple concerto, which he performs alongside Timothy Chooi on violin and Hayoung Choi on cello, other rising stars of the younger generation. Music lovers will then follow him to Vienna where he performs a Schubert, Franck and Szymanowski recital at the Konzerthaus on 29 May 2024.

]]> Following the announcement that the Berliner Philharmoniker will be returning to Salzburg from 2026, Baden-Baden is calling on a new generation of artists to maintain its prestigious Easter Festival at the same level of excellence. In order to “broaden the European vision”, the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest in Amsterdam and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra will take over as main orchestras of the Festival from 2026. Conductors Joana Mallwitz and Klaus Mäkelä will play a central role in Baden-Baden‘s future artistic programming. In the meantime, the next two editions in 2024 and 2025 will feature the Berliner, who have been in residence at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden since 2013.
